I have a 4 cyl. 2010 XL super cab and just love it. I haul my ATV and notice no difference in power. On my last visit to my Ford dealer I was advised that the full sized Ford V8's get better mileage than the 4.0 Ranger! I had a 1990 4.0 and put 350,000 Km's on it. Very solid engine but mileage stinks.
