I hope to hell mine does better. Ive already had to redo the rear end- it doesnt seem to me the open 7.5 is all that good as Ive seen many which needed rebuilding/replacing before 200k. The duratec im running SHOULD make 200k and maybe even 250k, and the transmission seems solid.

Whats with this rash of 3.0's needing engine replacements before 200k anyways? Ive always thought of the 3.0 vulcan, the 4.0 ohv and the 2.3l lima as some of the most reliable engines ever built (bar the 300 cu in inline 6). Yet ive seen at least 5-6 mentions in the last few weeks scattered over various sources with the 3.0 taking a dump before 200k.
