The egr valves rarely fo bad. you can clean them out. it is probably your DPFE sensor. also the oil form the KN filters can mess the maf so you need to clean the maf..........around where i live I would never pass inspection. I would have to fix it. also if you do fix or clean anyting reboot the ecu
