So now GM is selling shares. Billions to be raised. Yes they will payback some of the money from the bailout. And possibly keep a few billion to invest in production. I'm not sure how it worked..pre-bailout..bankrupcy protection stage. Shareholders of GM stock maybe lost their shares? If not they won't like so many new shares created. Chrysler was a little different since it was required that they accept the Fiat takeover. Ford was the only one that didn't ask for a bailout. Ford sold off several of the companies they had bought to help prevent such. But GM could come out the big winner by the way they did it. Mind you if GM had gone under job loses would have been devastating. But still....
