^^^^which is why I had this latch on my tailgate that was secured with a special bit...which I now realize I left the latch on the truck when I sold it and without the special bit. Hopefully the new owner doesn't need to take that off...

guess it just uses a torx bit, but it is threaded on there it felt like 100 times.
