That's pretty true. You have to hit the gas to get the 2.3 going with tires that size. I'm getting about 18-19 combined at the moment.


Also, I did 284 miles on my first tank with 31's. Drove around 70 on the highway to the mountains for a fishing trip, averaging 2200-2500 RPMs, then going up to 6,000 feet, 24 miles of off-road trail, then cruising down the mountain with probably about 100 lbs of gear, plus 3 people in the truck. 284 miles with 16 gallons is 17.75 mpg. And I drive very slow now that I have 31" tires.
