That's what I would have done if I was that manager.

When I managed a bar here on Kelleys Island (it was out of the town area a little) I always made sure the police officers got free water and sodas, and comped their meals. Wanted them to always maintain a police presence there, either by coming in or driving through the parking lot. People come to Kelleys Island and think that since they paid a ferry ticket that the whole island is an amusement park, and anything goes.
