Yeah they have to pins that hold them in. Just take a hammer and a wide tipped flathead screwdriver and knock them out. once you take them out, you can just slide the caliper off. once you get calipers off and old pads off, take a C clamp and compress the Caliper back into place. Then place in new brake pads, place on truck, align with pin holes and reinsert pins just using a happer lightly tapping them in.

I dont know the correct name for that type of pin, but i will try and find pics

I had a 94 Ranger and changed the front brakes three times in the span I had it. Its super man.

Myke, its not the same. Newer style Rangers have caliper bolts, older style ones use the pins
