So I got this 86 ranger that will start and runs great but when it gets warm it dies the guy that sold it to me said it was the fuel pump but I haven't checked anything yet any advice? He said it was the tank pump cause if U run them low on gas all the time the pump over heats cause it's cooled by the fuel
