I figured the same about the interior color, but still,
also being this way last year?

I'll post some pics when I get the truck. Supposed
to be picked up by the dealer today. My schedule
is pretty tight and originally I was gonna pick it
up next Monday week, giving them time to swap out
the camper, and paint it. (Going on vac this
Wednesday so I wasn't in a big hurry for it till
I got back.) Dealer was letting me drive my old
truck till I picked up the new one. But I do need
to haul a shower/jacuzzi tub and I can do that with
the camper off and without pulling a trailer.
So I may get it tomorrow if I have time, which I
only have the morning to do this. Problem here is
the dealer is like 65-70 miles away.

Regardless I'll get some pics. Another thing that
strikes me is how little the truck has changed
since 2002. Everything is basically the same. Same
interior and exterior. Grill is different and I like the
02 grill much better, probably the best of all the
Rangers. And the instrument cluster is not as nice
on the 2011 as the 02. Some mechanical
improvements are noted concerning the rear
brakes being discs now, along with tire pressure
monitors. And the new, supposedly computer
aided handling. The interior has hand grabs over
the doors. I don't see a lot difference elsewhere.

Besides, I've come to not like so many constant
changes in my old age. Keeping things close to
the same means stability and less fuss over getting
used to something that would be totally different.
At least ALL the bugs should have been worked out
of the Rangers by now!
