It's really dumb when parents do that though. The kids don't learn shit that way. I busted my ass to get my first car...and I have literally never gotten a penny from my parents for any of them.

I went to school and worked full time. I saved my money and got an '81 Ford Courier for $400 when I was 16. Then my next car I saved longer and got a '91 Escort GT, etc, etc...

My boys will earn everything. Even when I pass my Ranger down...he will EARN IT
