Ford never stopped making the Taurus. The Five Hundred was a different car entirely. It may of been meant to replace the Taurus, fact is Taurus was made till 2007 with the old body style from 1997 up to 2007. Then in 2008 it changed to the Five Hundred style, then in 2010 it got a whole new look with a new motor added in addition to the 3.5L it got an Ecoboost 3.5L Turbo Charged V6 with 365 Horse Power. I worked a dealership so I know the car never stopped being made.

Ranger in America may go but I doubt it. The new F150 V6's are suppose to be 3.7L's which was originally made for the Ford F100. As far as I know Ford is putting the 3.7L in the new rangers, and changing the body style to better match the Dakota and Colorado. Ford is also scrapping the 5.4L and 4.6L in their trucks. I believe the three options in the F150's are 3.7 300HP V6, the 5.0 V8 with 380 HP, and the 6.2L V8 with 411 HP.
