Re: 2000 XLT Front End Impact, Air Bags Did Not Deploy
I was in a head on collision with an oak tree in a former FRF member's Ranger. No airbags deployed in our crash. Jokingly I said that they must have deployed in the first wreck the truck was in, and never replaced. Since you bought the truck used, I would CarFax the vin. and see if that gives you any info. If it was a salvage titled truck, I would just about bet that the bags weren't replaced due to cost.
