GLH speaks the truth; I learned about db levels and hearing damage from my Dad who worked on airport runways as a "fun job" before he retired. They got an hour or so of hearing safety training and were told things like this.

By the way GLH, or anybody else, I have been running a 10" Polk Dxi with a Kicker CX mono amp and have Kicker DS speakers as stock replacements: any recommendations on a budget amp to power the DSs?
