Lol...the last time I went shooting, a couple guys had one of those and one break action 9mm rifle. So, I let them shoot my FNX-40...guy almost had an accident in his pants. Then his kid literally almost had an accident in his pants...walking up to the target with a round chambered, muzzle against his leg pointed inward...and...wait for it...his fucking finger on the trigger! (With their gun)
I didn't hesitate to yell at him the moment I saw it. He was 12+. My son was 7 then, been shooting since he was 5. Guess who had better gun safety? And yes, my son can shoot a pistol and handle it properly. Hand him a gun, finger is in the right place, knows how to clear it and make safe, etc...
