Ok doke, An update. Removed the plug connection to the speed sensor and measured its resistance. I found this to be 1.5K ohms and thought that about right so I then removed the speed sensor (watch out tho cause sensor sits in a fuel bath so you do loose some fuel when sensor removed but thats why you have ten fingers!) I found the sensor had a light covering of rust coloured debris on its tip so cleaned it off and refitted it and so far there is NO FLASHING GLOW PLUG LIGHT!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully I have fixed the 'fault' but i will give it a few more trips before i clear the fault memory but fingers crossed!.............. Now all i need is to sort out the brakes..............................
