I am considering buying a 2001 Ranger XLT with a 3.0L engine - Calif emissions, auto. I know the mph is low and the engine is sluggish going up hill. Is there any way of increasing hp and mpg and still meet emission standards in Nevada? (please forgive my ignorance in these technical things)
