Re: 96 2.3L 4-c Ranger Misfire problems
it has no real discernible tick. I am also kinda hard of hearing so that could be why. The cylinder 2 plugs had the grounding strips melted, both sides as the picture shows but when I pulled the others, they looked as typical plugs.
It has been mentioned before that is is running lean, but in the 96 model I have to pull off the headers just to get to the fuel assembly, so if that should be my next course of action, I will be taking it to a professional.
Wouldn't a timing issue lead to multiple misfires? At this point in time, the OBD only returns cylinder 2.
