Nobody's here done it....
But the order of things needed is the same as any non-stock engine swap. Fab up engine mounts, exhaust, new trans, possible trans x-member, getting your gauges to work(fun fun fun), new shaft made up. Good thing about that engine choice is its all mechanical. Only needs like 5 wires hooked up and it's a runner.
There's a few folks who have dropped the 4BT in a Ranger, but I can't find 'em at the moment..below is a vid of a TheRangerStation.com member's truck. I'm pretty sure he's part of the 4BT swapper forum,
