I used the Herculiner after fixing some rust spots. Did it as a poor man's body work.

I had to dab it on with a brush as I had no luck with a small roller and I could get into the crevices better. Lost some of it off to wear, so I think I will do another coat of it this summer. Not bad for a $27 investment, as it made the truck look a lot better.

Proper preparation is definitely the key to a good result. I used that product because I had used it on the bed of my '87 back in the day and liked the result. Not saying it is the best choice, but I found it acceptable.
