Me, I'm a fan of this new look. A few minis getting it but alot of full sizes getting the treatment like the Tacoma posted earlier. Like the whole stance movement but with trucks. I think it started in Hawaii and came stateside in the last year or so. I'd never do it because oh holy hell what a pain. Plus I air down and play with my truck....I'd lose a bead while airing down! But...

An example: a spindle lifted 2wd EDGE with 10" wide wheels with 33x12.50 tires put the outside edge of the tires past the fender flare approx 3.5-4". See pic below...



The spindles really widen the width of the front of the truck.

This may be just fine for your tastes....and be very reliable. Your tire shop will thank you. Plus, it'll be way better on your wallet too. And wheel choices and options really open up too.

Have you located any 20x14 wheels in 5x4.5??? I vote sticking with 20x10 and 12.50's.
