Default Fuel problem

1987 Ford Ranger V-6 2.9 My truck will start and run fine but on two recent occasions the truck stalled and would not start. Checked the valve on the fuel rail and it didn't have any pressure. Had to use a little starting fluid and it fired up and ran great. Changed fuel filter and problem showed up a few days later again. I don't know if replacing external fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. Any info would be helpful

Default Re: Fuel problem

Does it have the 2 fuel pumps? One on the frame and one in the tank?
