Default new to the 2.9l, main areas of maintenance?

Grabbed me a lifted 91' ranger with a 2.9L in it.
runs great, manual tranny. 326xxxKM(200 Miles) on it.
Ive done a bunch of stuff to it so far, distributor rotor and cap, plugs and wires, oil and filter, air filter, and did a seafoam intake clean.
removed the old rusted to crap muffler on it and threw on a thrush glasspack, which sounds lovely i might add.
I have a coolant flush and add new stuff in the near future planned.
Is there any other areas i should keep my eye on or do any work on?

Oh and hello, im new here.

Just drive it like you stole it and have a good time, don't be to disappointed but 2.9's get less than great mileage
When it breaks (and it will) post here, there are lots of people who will be glad to share their experience

Sounds good! lol dont worry, first thing i figured out was it sucks on gas! but bonus is, the company i work for is gonna advertise on it, so that pays for the shitty gas mileage.
Fair Enough, yeah not to much wrong with it only thing left i havnt fixed is the Float in the gas tank, it shorts out jsut below 1/4 give or take, so i have to keep track of the KM i do.
one day ill order the part and drop the tank, maybe in the summer.
Once i drive it into the ground, and have spare time and a temp daily driver ill probably do the 4.0 swap for shits and giggles.

my old 2.9 in my Bronco II wasn't too bad on gas. Better than my 3.0 now. I got 24 highway at its best

Its not too bad, 90-100$ tank gets around 250-300km. not enough for me to care anyways. worse then the car i totalled before had though lol.

heads are prone the cracking so pay attention to your cooling, when ford casting these head in the 90's the where skimpy on the cast iron used to make the bridge between the exhaust valve and intake so those areas are very prone to cracking my 91 actually hydro locked on a hot day with water in the cylinder so be careful
