Wow if it has set that long you have sludge inside the fuel lines that is clogging the injectors

Putting new gas in on top of the old will not solve the problem - this new ethanol gas does really bad things really fast
You need to figure out a way to flush the lines

I did it with a fitting connected to the schrader valve with a 3' hose and a bucket
When I turned the key on it pressurized the fuel system and all (most) of the crud was pushed out into the bucket
3 bottles of injector cleaner 10 gallons of new gas a battery charger and it finally ran right

honestly if it sat for that long ill bet theirs a rotted line. mine were at the charcoal canister for the fuel return line. and the other line going to the throttle body was rotted. just do a real good check on them. if you find that 1 is cracked id replace both. and if it sat that long prob all other vacuum lines and other hoses are cracked. id do a 12v check at the harness that connects to the top of the fuel pump before i put another cent into it

i didnt see the beggining of your post, but sludge that built up could most deffinently plug the injectors. but he also said it is only dribbling our of the schrader valve which is before the injectors so the fuel lines them selves can be plugged from built up sludge

Clogged fuel filter? The pump works; he gets the right pressure...Could be a collapsed fuel line or clogged. The injectors are probably clogged. All that crap in the tank probably got all stirred up when he took it off and put the cleaner in it. I bet it gummed up the lines and injectors.

Exactly my point - crap gummy fuel will not burn it will only clog things up
Bet the inside of the fuel rail is full of gunk
Hope it didn't mess up the new pressure regulator

Id check to see first if theirs 12 volts to the pump. 2nd thing if theirs 12v id do an ohm resistance tests on the injectors an make sure their to spec. 3rd if the injectors are good i would take off the intake manifold and fuel rail and clean the hell out of the fuel rail. And intake since its off and lower intake. 4th take injectors out clean them, and install new o-rings. All the fuel lines prob need replaced from dryrot and im sure gumm that has built up from sitting. And like the other guy said your fuel filter is probably plugged from the gumm in the lines. Since you have the manifold off it would be smart to get a new gasket for it since its a an hour of work just getting the manifold off. Their really cheap at o reilly or autozone. Is your truck throwing any check engine codes?

on the 3rd pic you can see that the inside of the hole is completely plugged up. make sure to install new o-rings when you put them back in. also do a ohm resistance test on them to make sure their within specs. that could be a prob too

It's the old saying - an engine WANTS to run.
Clean all the injectors, flush out the whole fuel system and it will live again
I had a very similar problem and mine was only parked for 9 months
After I replaced the entire fuel system I figured out it was the gas that was the problem (live & learn)

I just changed my fuel filter (some gunk) and used Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner....I only put 6 oz in my tank, and the check engine light went off IMMEDIATELY. It came back on for a mile or two then back off. Before I did this it was only CONSTANTLY. I had used a whole bottle of B-12 chemtool (don't recommend) and the light started coming on all the time. I changed the pcv valve, O2 sensor, and now fuel filter. I think The chemtool really made all that crap in my tank congeal and clog my filter a bit and especially my injectors. I used seafoam, and it worked for a tank, but that was it. So I heard good things about Chevron and tried it. The erratic pulsing is gone, the engine is smoother, and my fuel gauge is working for the first time in 4 years.....amazing stuff.

well I got everything cleaned up and put back together, i tested the injectors. the truck still does the same thing, but it will run at about 500 rpm if I flutter the gas pedal really quick. I think its fuel pressure, I'm going to put a gauge on it tomorrow but I dont know what else could be wrong.
