rebuilt my 1986 2.9l ranger and can't remember which side the exhaust heat shield went on. Haven't been able to find a pic that shows it. Anyone know which side the heat shield goes on?

Which heat shield? The one on the CAT goes between the CAT & the floor

The heat shield that is up at the block. It shares some of the bolts with the exhaust manifolds....thanks for the reply

Need a picture to be sure but it sounds like the heat shield that goes between the heater box and the exhaust manifold
