Meh. If it ever went out, you definitely wouldn't want to have one rebuilt because of the complexity. It would cost ya. They're not known for reliability, but if it works fine...
The next best thing would be to swap in a M5OD-R1 w/ a 4.0L clutch. If you change your fluid and it's gear oil FM145, if it's ATF then it's a M5OD-R1. Doubt that thing has a TK series trans (87 and older).
