If you have a way to get there, I'd recommend you go to the auto store and get the Chiltons for that year. It has about 4 pages of photos relating to the drum brakes and how they come apart and go together--really foolproof. That book is well worth the money if you're going to be doing your own work. The Chiltons that covers yours is Ranger/BroncoII 1983-90 repair manual. If you can't get the book and nobody can get the pic for you, let me know... Great resource for the DIYer : )
