I got a 88 2.9 Ford Ranger and I've search around but cant find anything....Does my truck have a rev limiter and a speed governor

if its an auto it might have a limiter at 3500rpm like some of the mazda trucks.. and if its a manual try not to go over 4500rpm for long streches. and depending on how well it has held up it may vibrate over 80mph. my dad berried the needle in his 89 bronco 2 with the 2.9 he had it pegged at 5000rpm blowing the doors off a punk in a civic.

Ha I roll over 85 like once a week.....My truck runs good and ive raced Jeep Wranglers / and recentely subaru car that she said she was on 90 and i was pulling away
