nope, got it driving and going, but the same three injectors aren't firing. I can unplug all three injectors while the motors running with no change. Ive checked for grounds on the pcm and everyother ground i can find and no change. I used a noid light and three wont light at all. I have no idea what else to try?

also forgot to mention that the intank fuel pump was shot. We cleaned the rust out of the tank and replaced the pump, thats what got it running but those three injectors just wont fire.

when i replaced the starter solenoid it fixed the injector problem, but it still lacks power so im thinking the cats are plugged. They were glowing red the other day so...

i would just cut then out and put staight pipe there would be your easyes opoin there

That is just strange, I don't see how messing with the wiring at the solenoid could make a whole injector bank fire or not, yet the other side works fine.

I just had a Grand Am in the garage and i spent days on the GA forums. Some one over there had a problem with it dyeing like you say and replacing everything didn't help. It turned out to be a 4 inch vacuum line from the TB to the IM. It looked fine at idle and off but under acceleration it would collapse because the hose was bad from the inside out. A person on you tube proved it by video taping the hose collapsing in action. Don't know how that relates to your motor but for a couple of dollars maybe replace some hoses.

Well the injectors weren't working for very long, I got them fixed this time for good and now it's a 0-60 in 5 sec. truck. Its amazing how much power this little 2.9 has, I LOVE it!

what was the permanent fix?

Its really like 7.5-8 sec. I don't know if that's average but before I "fixed" it it was a 0-60 in a mile while full throttle and that was from starting at 30 mph. I had to wire the 59 pin injector wire to the 58 pin injector wire, the 59 pin was grounding the signal to pulse the other three injectors

ahh still really fast compared to what I have seen, lol mine is like 15 seconds LOL.... once I get her running again
