There's a time and place to go fast. I've worked too many accidents from "having fun", some of which the fun turned out to be fatal. I can't say I never opened a car up on the street. I was young and bold once too. I was lucky enough to get past my street racing days alive. I've buried a buddy when I was 17 because of racing on the street. He hit a deer that found it's place in his seat.

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger Crewcab 2.9L 4x4. I've been driving this truck since my uncle sold it to me in 2006. I've only had to pay for minor repairs and one new set of tires since. My poor truck has gotten a few dings on the hood due to the latch breaking. I want to keep it running for as long as I can, so I seeked a forum to hopefully find some help.

Very nice! I got my 97 2.3L 2x4 up to about 92 on a slope down hill with a tail wind lol.

Mods: plastidipped grill and header panel, Throttle cable mod, aftermarket projector headlight and corners, Alpine CDA-105 Headunit, 2 MTX TS82 8" subs in trick boxes, strobe lights on front of truck. K&N drop in filter, 2.5" exhaust after catalytic converter to a Thrush Welded muffler, pipe exits at stock location.

in my ranger, about 180KM/h which is about 111/112 MPH

my tires are rated for 112 MPH so i didnt want to go any faster. but i easily could have.

this was on an old airstrip for crop dusters my buddy has on his land (well, his dads land)
