Engine cut off while driving
I've got a 1987 Ranger XLT with a 2.9L V6. I was driving this afternoon holding steady around 45 mph, and without warning, the truck just up and cut off (immediately noticed due to the fairly annoying deceleration while going uphill). Coasted into a parking lot and tried to get it started again, of which it would run for anywhere between 1 and 15 seconds each time and die off again, Most of the time, though, it just wouldn't start back up.
-Fuel pressure seems healthy (pressed the rail valve and sprayed myself by mistake)
-Cranks over nice and strong
-No engine lights or such
-Sounds like there were moments where it just flat out tried and failed to light off
So what's everyone's thoughts? Electrical maybe?
