Default air conditioning

I hit a dear before I left to Germany. And now am back in Colorado. I had to take out the ac radiator to fit my new radiator in. do i need to take all of the ac componetes off of the truck? or can i just leave it on there?

Unhook the compressor electrically or remove the belt (the latter or both would be better). I like to remove the components, especially the a/c condenser up front to get more air to the radiator.
