Default Need idle help 2.9 L

i just changed plugs and wires on 2.9L my idle was 900 before and now it is 1300 the book says 800 rpm idle i checked all the vacuum hoses
no leak the only thing i did other then the plugs and wires was took throttle body off sprayed carb cleaner there i have already changed the pcv valve when i got the truck ..any suggestions would be appreciated.. trying to get through inspection H/C flunked

Sounds like a vacuum leak for sure, the symptoms you have sure fit well. Did you reuse the TB gasket? Did you reconnect the 2 large vacuum lines and 1 small evap line that go to the bottom of the TB? Spray anywhere a vacuum leak could be, particularly around the throttle body and see if the engine idle surges. It's possible the gasket is not sealing if re-used.
