Default stupid spark plugs

hi

have a 84 Ranger v6. Needed new spark plugs. Got some from a friends crashed truck. Didn't want to go all the way to the store. Forgot what make shouldnt matter they are spark plugs anyway. took some force but finally got them in. Now the truck wants to die it seems and runs really rough. i don't get it, whats the stupid problem here,. I have sprak plugs now.

Should I run some good amount of water through the intake, maybe it's dirty?

What truck did those spark plug come out of? If it was not a ranger there is one problem

Do not run water through the intake unless you don't want your truck anymore.

Remove the intake and properly clean it

for rizzle? lol, you should go buy some motorcraft stock replacement ranger spark plugs, others will not work very well, there are many factors that go into spark plug choosing.
on the plus side, if you put water through your intake, the spark plugs will be the least of your concerns

You should just have your truck towed to a mechanic and never try to do your own work on it again if that is going to be your attitude. People answered your situation and gave you very sound advice on other "issues". Take it or leave it.

Have you heard of hydro locking? its when water goes into the intake and can destroy an engine

Your engine is designed for certain specific spark plugs. You can't just take any old plugs out of any old engine and put them in your truck. It won't work. And from the sounds of it, you probably wrecked the heads by forcing the wrong ones in.

You can't just put water in your intake unless you want to blow it up. It won't clean anything and your engine will just grenade.

Sure I can go grab spark plugs from my wife's beetle will they fit maybe will they work no

Those plugs are designed for a 2.5L Volkswagen beetle engine not a ford ranger

You need to get spark plugs made for a ford ranger engine you have.

Have you ever seen when people drive through water that is way to high they suck water into the intake and it locks the engine up

Check this out Good Samaritan aids driver stuck in water

Him driving through the water would be the same as you pouring water down the intake
