Default Shifter Play

Hi i know theres probably other forums about this but what exactly is it called to replace it. I have alot of play in my shifter and im just trying to figure out whats and where i buy it at plus im 16 so i dont know what every part is called.

Im gonna need to know something first. by play what do you mean? Is it slipping out of gear? is it moving around while driving? Does it stay in gear?

Its in my gear shifter it self....Its really hard to find gears cuz theres so much slope. Like when example when ur in trying to go to 3rd its hard to find cuz u cant tell where it is is u get what i am saying

I don't know, but a Google search can get you in the right direction. Looks like you have a common issue with bushings wearing out. I remember seeing a thread on this on another forum that was pretty detailed, but then again I haven't dealt much with the M5OD-R1 transmission. You might also try the drive train tech instead of an engine section.
