Default Dual Tank Problem

We have a 1986 Ranger 2.9 liter with dual tanks. Switching to the front tank the vehicle will run for about 15 mins, then fuel pressure drops, switch to the rear tank and it will run as long as there is fuel, switch back to the front, pressure is normal and again it runs for about 10 to 15 mins and we lose pressure. / yes it had a new fuel pump, relay and selector valve. Anyone have a similar problem that could share some light, as I am sure it’s somethiing simple and stupid

Default Re: Dual Tank Problem

i believe i have this same problem and im and in the process of trying to figure it out. but i dont have much more than a min or two on the front tank. it has a new pump in it. my gauge also only reads the rear with the switch on either tank.
