Default 1996 Exhaust leak

I just got a 1996 4x4 Supercab auto. Its my first Ranger and I really like it feels like allot of truck in a small package. It has a leak at the exhaust manifold that I need to fix. I have done this on older V8 Fords but there was allot of room under the hood of those. Does anyone have any tricks to make my life easier.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Glen

Guessing you have a 3.0L? Only thing I can really suggest (I haven't swapped a manifold on that engine before) is to PB Blast the exhaust bolts far a head of time so that they are easier to remove. Most of the time the exhaust bolts love to snap flush off in the heads.
