what about just readjusting or tightening completly,isn't there also other adjusting points besides when you replace rear brakes.Like at the pedal or on the frame.

The only thing i had on mine was the threaded rod which set part of the tension, replacing the brake shoes was the other, don't know how the newer years are set up. The explorer rear is a different beast altogether.

The cable wasn't connected to the rear break line. We connected it and tried it out. It stuck shut. I'll need to take the tires off and work on freeing the stuck breaks. I think the line is rusty. Going to try some spray lube and see if I can get the line working properly.

i just hope your cable isnt broken on the cab side of the the system because if its like mine its a pain in the ass too fix that
