Default 2.9L to 3.0L

what would i need to change? would the 3.0 bolt up to my 5 speed? i know the 2.9 and 3.0 use the same block. just dont know if ill have to change wiring and computer.

No, they are completely different engines. However, the pushrod 4.0 is basically a bored and stroked 2.9 so that would be very much doable.

even with a 4.0, you will still need to swap basically everything touching the engine. trans, wiring, etc.

ah thanks.. i think ill stick with the v8 swap.. and ill just get another 2.9L for the tyme being.
