I have an 88 ford ranger 4x4 2.9 i just bought the guy i bought it from said it needed a fuel pump so i bought them the high prss and the sending unit one new fuel filter new spark plugs and wire set the truck starts fine and and as its starts to idle or warm up it just dies out also if u start it and give it gas dies out starts right up evrytime just cant get it to stay on i just replaced the fuel press regulator ign module and tps and map sensor i also tried another computer off my buddies running ranger no luck same problem please someone help me i luv this truck and dont want to give up on it my next step tommorow im checking my fuel pressure if anyone has anything else please let me know

i would check your injectors and make sure your getting a good fuel pressure at the rails

also check the rotor and cap on the distributor
