seafoam?

Just got a 92 2.3 . the kid I got it from did no maintenance at all!! Been doing a lot of replacement and cleaning. How often should I run seafoam in the tank? It's running pretty good, still won't pass emission in NM. I think it's got around 90,000 miles on it. But as I said, the kid did nothing but drive it. Any thing else I should do? did full tune up and oil change. Thanks people!!

i would only recommend doing seafoam once every 50k miles or so, never regularly. It's mostly for really high mileage vehicles and heard countless times of it being able to hydrolock

about 500 miles before you change the oil again throw about 1/3 of a bottle in the crankcase then throw 1/3 in the tank and then throw the last 1/3 in the vacuum tube coming off the brake booster w/engine running.... but be prepared if you do the vacuum tube it will smoke like a freight train......

What is it failing on? Pull codes too. Is it a 2.9L or 2.3L?

compression test the engine. make sure he didnt fry anything with not doing maintenance
