Default tryin to get truck running

well my truck is in my sig. but i bought it bout a month ago and it ran fine. then one day i drove it for like 2-3 min. and started climbing a hill and it died almost at the top. like some one reached over and cut the key off. turns over good but no fire
i put new spark plugs in it, when you put either in it it will fire every time but when you turn the key on fuel pump dosent pump anything so i put a new one on and still didnt ever kick on, so i tested the wires and it is not getting any power to the fuel pump at all. i was told that there is some kinda switch mounted on the fire wall that if it gets jarrd it will turn all power to fuel pump and you just push the button on top and it will be fine. i cant find it. i have had 2 people look for it and no luck either. please help!!!

Im positive 1986 trucks don't have the inertia switch

But just to be sure check on the inside of the cab on the passenger side. It will be up in the corner of the cab

You have to remove the plastic panel, and it will be in there. The way you'll know it's the right switch is that there should be a reset button on top of the switch

I'd bet your truck does have one since it's fuel injected. It should be located on the passenger side firewall. It's where your left foot would rest if you were sitting in the passenger seat. Just pull back the carpet a little.

i will check once again but i doubt this will work
i think my best bet with it being just a play offroad and mud truck i will just throw a fuel cell in the bed and be done with it
