Default cold air intake question??

Hey i im just wondering if anyone out there has put a cold air intake on 2.9 L ranger and have liked the results??

Im thinking about putting one on mine but i wanted some good or bad responses first.

its a waste of money because it actually gives you less flow into the engine so if you want to go ahead but dont expect any performance gain just expect a lighter wallet

well as far as that goes those two words cant be used in the same sentence but do a tune up new plugs new wires mabye a new cap and rotor for the distributer and run some sea foam through it also try out the throttle cable mod

I have intake on mine it looks cool and sounds good too you can hear the truck suckin in the air

my truck dont do too bad on gas 2.9 goes a whole week on less than 25 bucks

if you want cheap horsepower go buy a used evo 8.

yeah my turns heads mainly ones thinking " what the hell is that thing" but thats all gonna change soon enough oh and i get like 22 mpg driving like i stole it

some people i run into think im crazy drivin an 1988 daily they think its not reliable but they just dont understand what these trucks mean to us

Vehicles are only as good as the person maintaining it.

People have made comments to me about mine as well. Hell, I paid $500 for it with a bad engine. I probably have another $1300 or so in repairs now but it's paid for and Rangers have a good reliabilty reputation. I don't think I did so bad.
