Default starting problems

I have been haveing problems lately with my 1986 ranger starting and keeping a charge. Today I replaced the starter, silinoid, and battery. Now I have no power at all to any thing in the truck the lights won't even work now. Can someone help?

Test the connection from the neg battery post to the end of the ground, and the pos battery post to the solenoid where the battery connects. Sounds like a bad battery terminal or corroded/bad wiring...
