Default Engine Trouble Getting Loader. Help please.

OK so here it is, About 400 miles ago I changed the head gasket, changed the oil and filter, changed the thermostat and flushed and filled the radiator ( Also added some barrs leak. Had a leak. It stoped ) . All seemed ok .

Then yesterday I jump in the truck drive to work and the engine sounds like it has no oil. So I shut her down jump out and take a look. I'm about 1/2 quart low, I thot ehh no big deal seeing as how I have a rear main seal leak I thot that's where it went, So I added alittle oil and went to work. Got there put a piece of cardboard under the truck just to make sure it was the rear main seal and no place else. Well there was no leak's at work. Drive home toss the cardboard back under the truck and did not drive it again till this morning. Same thing no oil on the cardboard at all, but ping tick clunking noise is getting out of hand. ( The rear main seal is not even leaking any more )

So I just got out of work and drove home still no sign of oil loss, and half way home ( 2.6 mile one way drive ) the sound of death went away.

The truck is not overheating and seems to run just fine. My oil pressure gauge always reads right about the A in normal with is high ( I think )

So what the hell do I need to fix now ? Someone please help .... This truck is killing me

Default Re: Engine Trouble Getting Loader. Help please.

It's now Thursday and the engine is screaming as if it has no oil at all.

Also I have been keeping an eye on the oil presser gauge and the needle only moves a hair from the first point at the bottom of the A ( IN Normal ) to about the middle of the two points. And the gauge does not even move from the letter A when the truck is shut off. Is the gauge broken? Is my oil pump dead ? Is there anyway I could tell it the pump is working ?

Please Please Help Lone Parent of an 8 year old with limited funds and I need to keep this truck running or I'll be walking 3 miles each way to work.

Update, I changed the oil sending unit and now my gauge works and shows within the normal range. Everything seems fine untill the truck warms up for a few min's then it starts screaming as if it has no oil.

I have been walking to work now for a few days and it's really getting old. Does anyone have any clue what may be wrong ?

I have been thinking of changing the oil again and adding engine restore. Would this be a good idea ?

Please, Any and all idea's would be helpful.
