I think I gave all the information you will need in my earlier post. I now have ~50,000 miles on the cheapo thermostat and everything is still working perfectly and I have passed CA smog in the meantime. Just purchase a later model (2004 or later) thermostat from any supplier and add a resistor across the two pins. You can find a resistor from Radio Shack or online including Amazon. Simple and cheap!
