new to the forum guys. instead of buying a new/used truck this winter i decided to give my 2000 xlt a bit of a face lift and run her til she dies. got about 165k on it right now. already replaced driver side power mirror (two tracking in reverse is hard), removed old rusted out brushguard and replaced with bull bar, installed new headlights (others were trashed from hitting a deer), scraped out valance and fog lamps. had a little fun with plastidip and blacked out the chrome grill, bumper, valance, fender flares and emblems. still need to install Hella FF1000 fog lamps on the bull bar and black out the wheels. cranked the t-bars to gain 2" lift in the front and going to raise the rear 2.5". still have plenty of other ideas floating around for it. heres some pics of the work in progress.
