Buyer beware is always a good thing to remember. I'm sure this situation could of had a good resolve if this thread wasn't started and calmer heads were used to deal with the situation. I'm by no means taking sided let's just put an end to this. Split the difference for shipping refund and resell or use the parts bought and learn from said misfortune.
