As for the wide stance, it definitely feels like it makes a stronger foot print. The truck used to wander side to side in strong wind gusts with the pizza cutters, but now the truck tracks perfectly straight in the wind.

Wait....you haven't noticed how crazy wide it is now after the spindle installation?
I would Explorer leafpack it. Use the Explorer leaf as the base, run the AAL in it and continue to run the shackle. OR.......de-crank it. Spindle up front and AAL + shackle should be plenty for a level ride. That's actually my rear set up before I explorer rear spring swapped it....and I was matching up to the 4" superlift up front. Dead level. De-crank some and let those new-to-you #1 torsions live a little longer and the truck will sit better.
