That's good. I hate those church run Troops that shit Eagles out all the time at 13-15. Earned it my ass. Not saying they're all that way...but it's ridiculous when the leaders just go "Ehh, good enough" and sign shit off.

The guy that took over my troop when I got mine just did it to get his son Eagle. He made sure that me, my old scoutmaster (council leader), and another former leader (committee chair), all of us whom have 15-20+ years experience in scouting each... were not there for this little POS's Eagle board.

He knew we would say NO!. This kid did NOT earn it, nor deserve it. Instead, he had a bunch of new parents with 0 years exp what so ever be on the board...then he fucking coached them!

Then to top it off...he just says, "well, my son got Eagle I'm moving on". With nobody to take his place...he let my Troop of over 55 damn years be disband. He's lucky I haven't run into him on the street
